Bloemfontein Airport is a busy gateway. It catered for just over 350,000 tourists and business travellers in the 2006/2007 financial year and also handles substantial volumes of cargo.

Lock-up garages at R30 a day

Construction

Capital development is not confined to the international airports. The national airports, which are experiencing enormous growth
in domestic passenger travel, are also being upgraded.

Work on the R35 million upgrade of the Bloemfontein terminal
building was begun in May 2007 and is scheduled for completion by end 2008.
